Daniel Araujo is one of the founding partners of Score One Soccer. His vision of connecting the Hispanic and Anglo cultures to improve the game of soccer here in America continues to gain in popularity. Daniel believes that the mixture of these two cultures will produce a better quality product that is more attractive to the educated soccer eye.
A native of Montevideo, Uruguay Daniel began his soccer career at an early age. Playing in parks, alleys, and streets he epitomized the South American dream. Reaching the professional ranks as a player allowed him to achieve that dream. Daniel played in many parts of the world including Central America, South America and Europe.
In 2004, with his wife and daughter, Araujo decided to begin his transition from player to coach and accepted a position as the Director of US markets for the Mexican first division club Atlante in Charlotte, NC. Since then, Daniel has gone on to share his unique views with thousands of players, coaches and fans across the country as both a speaker and coach.
Daniel is the President of Score One Soccer and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Grizel and their two children.

As the Executive Director of Score One Soccer, Antonio Porretta believes soccer in this country can and will grow to international prominence. Along with his partner, Daniel Araujo, he believes the future success of the game in the country lies in the mix of Hispanic and Anglo players.
Born in Rochester, New York Antonio’s love of soccer came early in life. From streets to parks to gyms, Antonio would use any chance he had to play the game. Growing up in an area that favored traditional American sports such as football and wrestling, he helped pioneer the growth of soccer at the grassroots level. He has played at many levels including collegiately and professionally.
Beginning his coaching career over 15 years ago, Antonio has tried to infuse his passion for the game to the next generation of players in the U.S.
In addition to coaching youth and collegiate teams, Antonio has spent time working in the Olympic Development Program and as an educator to other coaches.
In 2007 Antonio moved to Charlotte, NC with his wife and 2 children. It was there that he and partner Daniel Araujo created Score One Soccer.
